"Owner" screen

When I upgraded my Go 700 to the latest software, I was asked to input my name and postcode. This now appears as a splash screen when I turn the satnav on, and you have to tap the "continue" button in the bottom corner to open the mapping. However, this button is very hit and miss, and even though it changes colour after tapping it often stays on the same screen, and needs a few more tries to move on. Is there any way of missing out this screen when the device is turned on, or is it something that I am stuck with. Also, can the info be changed if the satnav is sold?
