Hi,
Can any one help me with the following problem.
I have a HP IPAQ 6340 PDA with both Copilot 5 and TT6, and have previously used the Copilot BT GPS receiver successfully with both.
However I've recently experienced some lock up issues whilst running TT6 and realised that my PDA firmware was very out of date. I therefore upgraded to the latest version (1.11.10).
Unfortunately I now can not get a GPS signal when using TT6, yet the same set up works perfectly with Copilot.
On the TT6 GPS screen I've tried using both of the Bluetooth options i.e. COM4 and COM7, when the IPAQ Bluetooth Manager shows a connection to the GPS receiver.
I've trawled this site for help, and there is some advice for 69xx series users regarding some serious reg edit stuff, but this is for internal GPS receivers.
Its very fustrating that the hardware works with Copilot (not preferred - never realeased the traffic option on v5 !!!!) and not TT6.

Welcome to the forum, can you try going to Start/ Settings/ System TAB, tap the memory icon then Running Programs TAB, make sure no GPS related program is still running, to make sure press Stop all.
Now run up TomTom and see if you can get the GPS to work, when you have selected the GPS does the little yellow blue disk top right of the screen spin? - this is found on the GPS Status page - if its not spinning try another setting. What actual choices are you making within the TomTom GPS set-up screens? - Mike
