Dell Axim x30

I am using an Dell axim x30 624Mhz with TT6,i have contacted tomtom about a software issue on the dvd.
They said that they could not give support because my pda is not compatible when i said it was the software on the dvd they did help.
I asked why my pda was not compatible seeing as there are lots of units with a lot lower specs than mine which are compatible.
The answer was it would work for a while and then pack up.Now has anybody out there been running this software with An Axim x30 with or without any problems.
I purchased the programme from a site ( discountsatnav )where they have tested it.
I havr tried it and it works ok.

I've been running it on a x30 312 for months without any problems. They just wanna weasel out of support older systems.
