Hi
Just joined today. Hope someone out there can help me. I bought a Garmin Quest ( 1 not 2 ) in July 2005 and dowloaded SafetyCameras UK 3.064. This is an overlay map which I am using with Garmin MapSource City Select Europe v7. Is there an update available? Thanks in anticipation. |

Hi,and welcome to the forum.
The Overlay map is one of the available formats for download from this site, so in order to get an update you would need to subscribe. Instructions are over in the menu on the left, under Speed Cameras.
The overlay is updated every time the database changes, which is about twice per month at the moment. The current version is 4.124.

Thanks for your help. I've done it now. It might help others to know that it is essential to uninstall previous editions of the overlay map first.

That's not quite true. It is necessary to remove any pre-PocketGPSWorld versions of the overlay, i.e. the versions that were downloadable from my website (which is what Somerby had). This is because the installer mechanism changed and the new was not compatible with the old. It has cropped up in at least one thread in this forum.
I'll update the installation instructions but TBH I didn't think there were any old versions still out there  .
