I cant get it to work, have tried 2 different phones. Set it to internal mic on tomtom. I can hear the person talking but they cant here me. Any ideas??? Is there a volume level some where i need to set?

Can someone please confirm if the internal microphone is in the tomtom or the mount please????

It's on the mount - on top of the front edge is a tiny hole. Logical for it to be on the mount, because if you get an external Microphone it plugs into the mount, not the GO500 and bypasses the "internal" mike.

does the mount have to be powered up for it to work??? Other wise my mount has gone faulty. Dam Evil or Very Mad

Technically, I don't know, but I'd lay odds it DOES need to be powered up - I just ALWAYS have my mount powered up (700 is same as 500) from cigar lighter socket when ignition is on and if I'm parked and still want to use handsfree, I switch on the ignition.
