Costly yes (and to be honest the map looks naff), but consider the possibilities when confronted with a major hold up on the motorway (happened to me twice in the last two weeks) - put a different cartridge in and play away the time - here is one for the TomTom SDK developers out there - Pac-man for the go range?? - Mike |

Seems mainly gaming related GPS. I found the following text, re: route planning. Only seems to be japan maps at the moment.
Navigation Soft (Edia, December 2006) This standard car-navigation software features all the roadmaps in Japan. Aside from searching for car and walking routes, the software can also be used as a directory to search for nearby shops and other facilities. The maps and database can be updated using the PSP's network capabilities. |

Get yourself set up with Firefox 2 and there is a spell checker built into the browser, all you have to do is tell it which dictionary you want to use. |

Most gps manufacturers are trying to make the profile of gps devises smaller and less offensive to the drivers field of veiw. The psp would be more like mounting a plasma screen to the dash.

Firefox is a web browser just like IE7 and can be used on pretty much any OS out there including XP.
Take a look http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ |
