Garmin i3 voice tells me 'left' when its right!

Hi My streetpilot i3 tells me to turn left when the screen shows and says right.

It will not say the word 'right' - it must be scared of it!!

I have tried several different versions of software but to no avail

What should I do? I'm now on the latest software version.

The screen is always correct and the voice always wrong, unless I'm turning left!!

Please help!!

Have you tried changing the Voice Language in the settings to American English, and then back to British English? This sometimes seems to sort out voice problems.

How long have you had the i3? If I was you I would return it to where you got it from as it does not do the job for which it was intended, you seem to have done everything logical to try and rectify the problem, so if it is under twelve months old take it back and ask them to change it. I believe the onus is on them to change it so dont be fobbed off if they tell you to return it to garmin.

I imagine he would but his Garmin keeps taking round the block so he never has quite got there yet :D

On a very few occasions mine's said LEFT when showing a right turn. (Though it can and does say RIGHT for a right turn.)

Unfortunately I can't repeat the journeys it's done this on as the fault junctions are too far away!

I'll try the change language tip. Though it's likely to go back as it froze on me yesterday.
