Mitac Mio A210 running Tom Tom

I have the Mitac Mio A210 running MS Windows ppc v5 with Tom Tom Navigator v5.1. Can anyone tell me the correct Tom Tom settings for the inbuilt GPS receiver configuration on the A210? ie in Tom Tom the 'Show GPS Status' option in 'Change Preferences'. I am looking for the correct GPS receiver, baud rate, sat configuration and port. The system works, but is v slow to detect sattellites in the open or in a car.
