Apologies if already posted - however I did try to search.

When I got the Tomtom - I have found none of the speed cameras show up even though my friend's 910 shows all the ones locally out of the box. Sad

Do I have to update via the Tomtom site - can I do this with the 1 months free sub? Does it have to be over GPRS on a mobile or can it be done via the internet whilst connected to my PC?

I read that the pocketgps camera database is better than Tomtom but would that invalidate the warranty if the unit had to go back to Tomtom?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can download the TT version, and yes you can do it via the PC.

Finally, definitely and no the warranty will stay intact.

Don't think they come pre-installed on a One (not 100% on this though)

Either should work if you have a free sub.

I think the PGPS one is better (especially as the TomTom ones are now handled differently, so you cannot change the warning sounds or distances), and no, it will not invalidate the warranty, you are supposed to be able to put your own points of interest on the unit!
Don't worry... Smile . Try the TomTom ones if you can get hold of them free, otherwise just pay £2 for a months subscription here and download those instead.
