hi all
i have a tomtom ONE old style that i run with a 2gb sd card containing all euro maps, speed data base and voices etc. i want to give this unit to my daughter and purchase the new style tomtom ONE GB. does anyone know if my existing sd card will work in the new unit without any problems??

The TT One V2 uses newer v6500 firmware.

If you replace all the FILES (not FOLDERS) from your old Euro card with the ones from the V2 GB card then it will be recognised by the V2.

The cameras will work, but the maps will need reactivating as they are now in a different device. It's a lot of faff and it's probably better just to purchase the unit you want, it may cost more up front but may save you in the longer term.
