Medion 96800 & POIWarner

I successfully loaded POIWarner on my 96800 and it ran OK. I had to cold restart the device when it locked up so had to re-load all the software. What ever I do now I cannot get POIWarner to run. It apparently loads OK but does not run when I am using Medion Navigator 5 Ver.5.1A.
I have tried loading POIWarner 4 for both PNA or PDA (as suggested by POIWarner) ditto for POIWarner 5. I have also tried the previous combinations with the Medion 96800 unlocked running Windows CE and as originally delivered. The only other chnge has been an upgrade from Activesync 4.0 to 4.2.
POIwarner did say that there was a bug in version 5 but that was now fixed.
I am now completely at a loss as what to do next.
