I have recently visited hungary and in my spare time noticed that sat nav was much cheaper than britain the tom tom 710 was £148 yes thats right £148.My only concern is will it work over here in britain? Will it be a case of just changing the language under set up or just the sd card, anyone got any answers as i have to go back on tuesday.Has anyone got tom tom e-mail address? Thanks Jeff. |

I can't see any reason why it should not work in the UK.
As you say, select the language you want.
However, you may find it comes with the maps for Hungary and not UK.
So add another £80 for the UK maps.
Also you may want to contact TT to check that they will honour the guarantee should anything go wrong with it, as your guarantee is with whom you purchased it from initially. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

The Map should be OK as the 710 comes with seamless Europe Mapping. _________________ Richard

Did you buy the TT and if so, hows it going.
Also if you have an address or e-mail, for them that would be appreciated as I have friends pretty close to Hungary. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |
