Got an email from TT stating all the bells and whistles that come with version 6; no mention of map updates tho. Are there any UK map updates with the new version? I use my TT for work, being a Gas engineer I do 10 + properties a day anywhere from Sunderland down to Selby and on the whole TT is very good, but there are occasions ( new A1 build north of Leeds is a good example) when TT thinks I'm driving thro' fields etc.

Hi Steve_SP,

If you have a TomTom PND/AIO (Personal Navigation Device / All In One) unit such as a GO/ONE/RIDER then you can download and install 6.xx now.

There should be some more up-to-date maps announced at sometime in the near future, although I don’t know when.

I guess that you’re not a British Gas engineer. Those people use a PDA phone currently running Navigator 5 with a heavily locked down menu with hardly any functionality. When the PDA phone is connected to the cradle in the vehicle, head office can send details of the next appointment to the nearest engineer.

Regards,
