Default Zoom In Level - TT6

Does anyone know how to change the zoom level in Tomtom.

I believe it is zoomed in too much, for example, if you are entering a large roudabout or difficult junction, the tomtom zooms in too much.
I would like to bring it out by default a couple of clicks.

I know i can do this manually but when you're in a strange area you have to keep your eye on the road, rather than pressing buttons.
