I have looked at the thread concerning using the PGPSW camera database on the C510E, and I am confused.

Firstly, I can't seem to download the utility (if that's what it is) from the rapidshare.de website, as the site seems to think I am already downloading, and won't let me download for free.

Secondly, I am still a newbie with regard to GPS file formats and even though I have been able to access the C510E using Bluetooth, I am still nervous about messing around with file systems. Am I right in assuming that a hard reset will restore my device should anything go wrong?

Has anyone compiled a step-by-step procedure for using the PGPSW database? Is it also possible to update POI's using similar procedures?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Morning peasemold and all,

Like yourself I fancied putting on the PGPSW database but dont feel very confident in doing so, although I can access files via bluetooth.
Now the latest I have heard is that Mio are due to give us a software update in September to ver 3.2 which would then allow us to put on the PGPSW database, so basically as it is now September I thought I would hang on for a while and see what happens. In the event that it doesnt materialise then I am sure that good old ceejay and the others will give us a step by step guide if we ask them nicely.
The system they are using I think is based on POI`s rather than the speedcam files.

Regards....Dil
