Navman iCN 750 safety camera download

Help!!!! Just purchased a Navman iCN 750 and am trying to download safety map database. Have downloaded database and extracted files. The SmartST version supplied is 4.0.0.1. I have connected unit to computer and opened SmartST which recognised unit. Only thing is when I click on map I am only given the option to add or delete maps or download updates. I am not being shown POIs. I have printed off instructions from website but the picture shown is slightly different from the ones on my pc screen. Can anyone help am getting very frustrated.
