I have a question, Just bought a TomTom one, Are the maps not as detialed?
I have tried searching for 2 side streets - they appear on the map when driving but cannot search for the names!
Looking on hte tomtom website they have a 200mb UK map and my SD card looks like it only has a 110mb map. |

It's probable that the Map has no Name associated with those streets.

The 100MB Map is the UK Specific Map only. The 200MB UK Map is probably the Plus Map with the Major Roads of Europe.

how come the name of the street is on the actual display when I drive on it?
is the one got cut down searching or has it got software crippled for whatever reason? |

| Have you typed the whole name correctly and the name has not appeared in the search results list? You may need to type the whole name as all TT devices use a search algorithm which whislt excellent most of the time, can produce some unusal results if you only type a partial name. |

| I have found the problem- google maps list the street under a diffrent name. Did a search and its there! |
