Hi guys

I was the owner of a Garmin 2720 . I bought it a good few months back from boystuff.

It was bought for my bike , and was great as i'd planned to use it on my trip to europe . BUt....

I had the option of upgrading the bike and if i did the trip went out of the window.

Now after debating it , i decided to sell teh garmin on ebay , which i duely did as i didnt need the sat nav for another year or two...

Unfortunately and apparently there was a code with the unit .. which i thought i had sent but obviously didnt as the buyer is asking for the unlock code for the mapsource software.

This gets more complicated as the laptop i had the software on no longer exists ... due to insurance claim and it being sent off for evaluation.

What can i tell the guy or will garmin supply the new owner a code?

any help gratefully appreciated.

No sadly because i havent got any of the codes as i cant find them... garmin in their wisdom supplied them on a useless peice of paper that has dissapeared....

Also the laptop that did have the nav software on it no longer exists...

Sorted...........the fantastic people at garmin emailed me my auth code for him...
