As a new user of GPS equipment I must comment that I am highly delighted with the performance of my Mio C510E, it took us around the Yorkshire Dales faultlessly for the last 2 weeks.
My question to the better informed than I is this: Is it possible to get Ordnance Survey maps, or similar, for use on the C510E, detailing footpaths, white roads and bridleways etc. This would enable the unit to be used for walks and cycling "off road"? If so does anyone know where thay can be purchased?
Many thanks for any info you may have.
Regards

It's a nice idea but I doubt very much if anyone can provide OS maps in a suitable compatible format. You would also need a very large amount of storage for such large maps, and OS data is expensive. To do this properly you would really need a laptop running a professional mapping application like MapInfo that can store OS maps in their standard format and connect a USB GPS unit. But that's several k pounds and a rather bigger unit.

Thanks for your reply, I'll stick to driving on conventional roads I think!
