POIs on Unit with Card?

Sorry, probably being completely stupid here. I have a new model i3 which only has limited memory. I have had the speed camera POIs on there with no problem.

I now have an SD card which I have uploaded all POIs onto, so far so good...

Now the problem.

I still have the other POIs on the unit so some are duplicated. Is there any way to remove them?

With the card in the unit run POILoader using an empty POI csv file. This will over write the POI's on unit, leaving only the ones on the card.

Should this not work i.e. you now have no POI's other than your blank, just reload the good POI's to your card using your reader.
