Postcode 'show on map' program

Hi

I know some people have written programs that create POI overlay files for postcodes, but has anyone written a program that enables you to

1) Type in post code
2) Once found, show on map so you can find the exact place.

I know you could use POIs but there are 1000s of them and the program (cant remember the guys name - sorry ) simply then creates OV2 files. I simply want the program to start TT and then show the postcode area on the map.

Any ideas?
