I am doing something wrong, or is this a bug........
I've created a list of waypoints in a new, empty mapsource .gdb file, using renamed categories (eg Category1 "Campsites", Category2 "Friends & Family") to store them in.
When I send them to my Quest, only some waypoints appear. eg out of 13 "campsites" only 7 have transferred, and out of 8 "Friends & Family" only one appears.
I have tried deleting all waypoints in Quest and downloaded again with the same result.
I have also tried renaming a category, but this is shown correctly on the Quest after a download.
Any help/advice/ideas please?? |

| First thing to come to mind, are the right maps in the Quest where the waypoints are. For example are the missing ones in France and you only have UK maps loaded on the Quest? |

All my waypoints are in the UK and all UK maps loaded.....! |

It seems that only "local" waypoints are transferred to my Quest.
IE any that occur in the same local region (south west) transfer ok - any outside the region (eg south east) get ignored..... |

 I think you are doing a search for "waypoints near me" so it's only showing you the local waypoints!
In the "Find" screen, press the menu button and change it to "find by name" which will search for all waypoints.
