Medion 95233 map problems

hi,

A friend of mine has passed me his Medion MD95233 with Navigator 4.4 on to have a look on.

It seemed to have lost all its settings, as the SD card seemed to be faulty. I have put a new card in and completed the install, but I cannot install the UK maps. There seems to be a blemish on the CD and it fails to copy a couple of files over. I have spoken to the Medion helpline, but they insist I buy a new copy of the CDs. I dont really want to pay for a newer version of the software, as he is quite happy with the current version. Can anyone tell me if I can obtain these files. I have got licence keys and everything and am quite happy to pay for the cost of postage, cd, and a couple of beers if someone can help?

Sorry Dan, but a decent sat nav package software will cost more than a "couple of beers" As Lost_Property has indicated you cannot simply take a "mates set-up" and use it on your own device, there are licence issues to consider. We do not issue or offer advice on pirate/ copies of software within the forum and do not permit discussion of such activities - Mike

Apologies guys, I wasn't asking for a pirate or cracked version of the software. The system comes with a legit copy of the software that was purchased from Aldi.
As I stated, I already have the licence keys on the original paper sleeves that came with the CD's, I just wanted the one particular file that was unreadable from the original CD
