With the exception of "tunnels and sometimes between large buildings" there is no reason at all why "any GPS" system would not work in any part of the world.
All it needs is line of sight to the sky for the satellite to beam a signal down.
And the correct map, of course |

...and so far TomTom's website only lists maps of:
Europe, North America, Canada, Scandinavia, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
So afraid not - "yet". |

So, all the TomToms will work anywhere in the world, from a receiving a GPS signal point of view. However, they won't be much use in areas of the world where suitable maps have not been produced. www.tomtom.com lists available maps. |

If you are asking the question?
Then the answer is yes.
Because it's like having a UK A-Z map with NO PAGES between the covers, so it can't direct you.
This also applies to any GPS (SatNav) system regardless of the brand name. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |
