hi ppl this is my 1st post
as title my mrs has binned the box with all
the cd and codes
i made a backup of my card and the map is asking
for the activation code
the old sd card works fine
but if i ever need to reset the unit will
i have to put the code in if it
any help would be great

All you can do is contact TomTom and ask for a new activation code, BUT you will have to provide them with proof of purchase. _________________ Graham.

I have had to reset my TTG500 and it did not ask for any codes

same here for a 300 with a new (bigger) SD card created by copying from the original SD card.

have you registered your tomtom with tomtom.com? did you save your details with them? if so you should be able to log in and retrieve the details

Yes. It shows your Product Code and the Activation Code.
