I'm running TT Nav3 on an ipaq2210 with a wired Haicom,while it's good, it's not FAB.
Whats the best TT available for me to enable me to run it on my ipaq and can i have Checkpoint with voice warnings on it? At the mo i dont have voice installed, can voice be added to my setup as it is?
Cheers

The current version of TomTom Navigator is 5.xx, which has more up-to-date maps than version 3.

If you don’t have voice warnings/instructions on your TTNav then you’re possibly running a pirated copy!
If you mean that you don’t have vocal warnings from CheckPOInt then you can use the following URL to make your own .WAV files:
http://www.naturalvoices.att.com/demos
Please note that if you upgrade to TTNav 5.xx then you don’t need CheckPOInt as you can use the built-in proximity alerts, and the free PocketGPSWorld voices

You can get some voice (.wav) files for checkPOI from Darrens site www.griffinnet.co.uk/downloads.htm its hyperlinked as Sound pack for CheckPOI this will work fine with your current set-up, otherwise you can use the ones intended for TTN5, but they will need converting from .OGG to .wav file type, this is easy to do and there are a number of free applications you can use to convert the files to the type you want, try a search on Google - Mike |
