Hi,
I have k-jam with windows mobile 5 & recently I have bought ABG-108 GPS receiver. I am able to pair the receiver with my phone but when I try to use GPSViewer, a program supplied with the receiver to check if its working or not, it is unable to detect a GPS receiver. I have tried to check it on another program, Garmin QUE, but it is also unable to detect the receiver. If someone can help me, I would realy appreciate that.
Cheers. |

In Windows Mobile 2005 you need to pair then on the same page is the Com tab select this and hit new out going port, select the GPS unit and assign a port number from the drop down box, without this last bit you GPS will remain invisable - Mike |

I have tried that as well. My K-jam is only giving me COM6 & COM7 & I have tried them both with secure & normal connection but whenevr I try to scan for a receiver in GPSViewer, it give says "open COM6 Error" & doesn't give me the GPS data, like its still invisible. |
