Downloading / buying of European maps for Sony Nav U

Can anyone point me in the right direction for downloading or buying maps for europe for my Sony NV-U50?
I use it around the UK and think it's very good but I'm going to Crete this year and would like to take it with me but so far I have not been able to find any obvious links for downloading maps for Greece (or anywhere else!).
Does anyone know?
Appreciate any pointers.

You're almost certainly going to have to buy the U70 to get the European maps. I've not tried to copy my DVD but I'll just bet it's copy protected in some clever Sony fashion. Might be wrong of course!

I think it will be tough to get that past the wife, another SatNav!!!
Know anyone who will try and copy it and then let me know...wouldn't want to do anything naughty but does look a bit steap otherwise!

davey you wont be buying another satnav only maps to put on the device

justify it this way you'll know where you going and you won't get lost and wife won't as be stressed Wink

The maps are not available separately for the Sony, and no, I'm afraid as I'm in the IT game I'm not going to even attempt to copy mine!
