|

Hello, Im having problem with the route, from my location going to universal studios hollywood, tomtom shows that I take the I10 only, but when I look up using mapquest on the net, it shows that I should take I10 and I101, is there anyway to correct this problem with Tomtom? Thanks much. |

I used TT5 in Florida last year. If you are refering to the built in poi for Universal Studios then it will take you to the staff only gate!!! Instead when you get about a mile away ignore tomtom and follow the huge tourist signs and you will get to the multistorey carparks needed.
Don't forget to go ont very realistic jaws ride :-) |

tomtom is showing me a long trip, it wants me to travel the universal studios blvd for 10 miles, weird. even if I look it up by address, it still shows that I only take I10 and the rest is to take the service roads. |

Not sure how I got there, I used tomtom to guide me!! although the first time it took me to the staff/service entrance which is about 1 mile away from main gates (using the tomtom poi for theme parks). I do not have the maps anymore as they were on my mates pda. A few of the Florida attractions are not too acurate on tomtom but once in the general area you can't go wrong, just follow the signs. Tomtom will not always take you the route you want, but you will get there. Also if you know the route you want to take, save it as say an itinary and force tomtom to take you the way you wish. |

One of you is talking about California, the other one about Florida; quite a difference! You can get directions from the Universal Studios website here. Looking at the map, it's off the 101 but when you get near, I'm sure there will be signposts to guide you in. _________________ Tim |

What im trying to say is, Tomtom is not accurate in routing to Universal Studios Hollywood starting from my location, and I want to know if there's a way to fix this problem? Thanks. |

yes, create an itinary for the route you want it to take. This will force Tomtom 5 to direct you the way you want to go. Do you know how to create and use the itinary function? |
