Hi
Does anyone know whether the standard icn530 car power supply can be used on 24Vdc. our horse lorry runs at 24v. My old navman 3400 sleeve was fine...but waht about icn530? psu unit only has 12v written on the side.

The car charger that came with my iCN530 says "Input 10-30V 1.3A Max". It also says "Unplug before starting engine". _________________ Tim |

hi tim
my old sleeve psu has 10-30v on it but the icn530 supply just has 12vDC on it, do you think it is safe to use on 24vDC?
went to use the old sleeve supply, but the connector is of a different size!
(i also have the T1 which uses the mini usb to psu jack converter) |

I have to say that I'd be reluctant, but perhaps an email to Navman explaining that yours is a 12V charger and you've heard that there's a 24v one available and could you swap yours. _________________ Tim |
