Have you installed appsliprotate.prc and statusbarlib.prc files?

These are necessary for full screen, but didn't ship with the original T3 ROM. You can find them for free with many third party applications...google is your friend. Wink

I have mapped TomTom to one of the pseudo silk-screen icons (press and hold the icon you want to change, and then select Navigator from the list).

Alos I find that TomTom doesn't always come up in full screen first time and that the show full screen icon (bottom right) is greyed out. If this happens just tap on the clock on the menu bar twice.

No other "features" that I'm aware of
:D

Aah, glad you suffer this issue as well - I thought it was a s/w conflict on my device but maybe it is a 'feature' that was built into one of the recent upgrades...it used to work just fine for me.

My solution is to tap and HOLD the full screen button on the bottom bar. This then brings up the different DIA view options, but also reactivates the full screen button. Smile

I haven't had this issue since installing the files above. always opens in full screen. I do have a\ big gripe though, slightest jolt in the car will close the T3 and switch it off. the cradle I have is not the sturdiest either. any decent cradles out there for the T3 which are fairly solid and can keep the T3 open???

I have no problems with my Arkon, the sponge pads come in on the middle of the slide and hold the T3 in the open position.

It seems to be a decent powered cradle (though I have had no reason to try others) and includes two other device power outlets, one USB for phones/PDAs etc and one small jack for bluetooth GPS receivers.

I've never had any problems with Tom Tom's own T3 car kit. It is available but you may have to ring them up to order one!

They used to sell it as a kit complete with GPS unit etc, but as the T3 is obsolete now, they don't list it. I broke mine a while back and bought a replacement from them - but I had to ring through to get it. I only replaced the cradle & not the windscreen mount, but at the time they listed the complete mounting kit on their internal system & not on the website & had to get a price for just the cradle. The windscreen mount is very good. The best I've comer across - rigid with adjustments in 2 plains. Can't remember what I paid for it.
