What happens when you switch on after the hard reset with the SD card removed? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi, Darren, Thanks for your reply, What is a Hard/ Soft Reset? If I turn the unit on from the back without the SD in, it boots up and then stays on the Navman ST Screen?
Regards, Sintra. |

A soft reset is one where you insert the stylus into the 'reset' hole. This does not alter anuthing but gives it a nudge so to speak.
A hard reset by turning off the unit using the On/OFF slider on the rear turns the unit completely off and resets it to factory default. When turned on it re-installs afresh.
Give the hard reset a go. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren thanks again, I have tried both resets, Ive been on the navman website and tried to download the updated software as navman suggested but still no luck. The actual unit was working perfectly the other day until I downloaded the speed cameras and now the set is not responding at all. Any more suggestions would be a great help, cheers Sintra |

The only thing I can suggest is re-loading the software onto the SD card using SmartST desktop. _________________ Darren Griffin |
