Can anyone tell me how i determine which software I am running on my tom tom 700, i want to try the manage poi software but after reading some of the posts, feel like im about to step into a mine field,

On the main screen near the bottom tap on the satellite bars & you will see the version number, tap on this & it will show more info including your map version. _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

Thanks sire, i found it just b4 i got this on tom tom official site, upgraded to latest software version and sucessfuly installed the capture poi software,tomorrow will tell if all is well. Its great that people take time to write this sort of software but idiots guides are not just for idiots and I for one found the guides very awkward to follow,nevertheless, thanks to the writers and thanks for the help..
