Just as a matter of interest -- can you enter a favourite or POI by entering Lat and Long coordinates
If so how do you do it...
I have a Tom Tom CLASSIC _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |

Some of the info here or here may help. If I remember correctly, once you have a POI, you can save it (or at least, its position on the map) as a favourite. _________________ Jock

The first works OK. The second is for TTN5, it won't work on a GO, yet. _________________ Richard

You should check out the program PoiEdit at www.poiedit.com
It allows you to enter coordinates and then save them as TomTom ov2 files to create POIs. |

I doubt it, but I don't have a Classic. Does anybody, who has one, have any suggestions? _________________ Jock

The way I do it is to use AutoRoute. Input Lat/Long, Edit Text on Push Pin and Save as .axe File.
Use POIConverter to convert .axe File to .ov2 File. Copy/Paste to Map Folder. This works on any TomTom Device.
POIConverter will create a default Icon which can be changed to what you like. _________________ Richard
