If you're referring to the Gatso Icons in a Yellow box then these are SPECS Cameras that measure your average speed over a known distance between two or more camera sites. So slowing down when passing them and then speeding up again will still get you a ticket!
See here for a detailed explantion. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I am sorry if this is the wrong thread but I don't know where to turn (even Jane doesn't know). I qualify for lifetime subscription to the database and have received an email confirming it. When I try to download the database nothing happens.
I use AVG anti virus software and Zonealarm firewall. Although I have always downloaded the free databases without trouble does the new arrangements clash with these? |

Try temporarily disabling ZA. There is another post in the forum someplace with the correct settings for ZA that allow our download to work whilst ZA remains enabled. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren and Old Boy, disabling Zone Alarm let me download the speed cameras. Are there any settings in Zone Alarm I can change so that I don't have to shut it down each time? |

If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro, I think the answer lies in the link I gave previously. _________________ Richard

I only have the free version of Zone Alarm, I guess I will have to disable the firewall each time. |

Is that the one with the Firewall only? If so it should be OK.
I have the ZoneAlarm AntiVirus and I don't have a problem. _________________ Richard
