If you're referring to the Gatso Icons in a Yellow box then these are SPECS Cameras that measure your average speed over a known distance between two or more camera sites. So slowing down when passing them and then speeding up again will still get you a ticket!

See here for a detailed explantion.

I am sorry if this is the wrong thread but I don't know where to turn (even Jane doesn't know). I qualify for lifetime subscription to the database and have received an email confirming it. When I try to download the database nothing happens.

I use AVG anti virus software and Zonealarm firewall. Although I have always downloaded the free databases without trouble does the new arrangements clash with these?

Try temporarily disabling ZA. There is another post in the forum someplace with the correct settings for ZA that allow our download to work whilst ZA remains enabled.

Thanks Darren and Old Boy, disabling Zone Alarm let me download the speed cameras. Are there any settings in Zone Alarm I can change so that I don't have to shut it down each time?

If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro, I think the answer lies in the link I gave previously.Confused

I only have the free version of Zone Alarm, I guess I will have to disable the firewall each time.

Is that the one with the Firewall only? If so it should be OK.

I have the ZoneAlarm AntiVirus and I don't have a problem.
