Hopefully someone might be able to help :D
The problem is i have just been sent a new phone from O2 but it also came with a new sim card (USIM) now of course because my r66 was set up on my previous phone with the old sim, is there anyway it can be used with the new phone, as i understand it registers with the first sim and is then locked to that
If its any use, the original phone was a 6600 and the new one is a 6680
Cheers

Hi Treester,
all you have to do with Route 66 is to send an e-mail to R66 and let them know that you have a new phone. They will send you a text message which you use to re-activate on your new phone. They give you all the instruction you need.
Good luck and Regards

As SteveR says, contact Route66. It's the IMEI number of the handset that it is locked to, not the SIM. Anyway, you can reinstall the software from scratch on the new handset after 7 days. The third install can be done after a month etc etc.
