But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Due to DSL problems I have been experiencing over the past few days and other work over the past few weeks I haven't been around as much as I would have liked and haven’t been able to read all forum messages, I know other members of the team have been filling in more and I do appreciate that! Unfortunately I have thousands of emails to catch up on, some dating back several weeks unfortunately, so please try to keep support or pre-purchase emails to the forums where possible! It will seriously help reduce my inbox and the rest of the Team’s inboxes. Mine certainly are starting to become unmanageable if I leave it for a few days. I’m going to start addressing these emails, so if you’re waiting for replies please don’t re-send your emails, you will get them but it’s been really hectic these past few weeks. We’re making some changes to the website, we have been playing with some heavy forum upgrades behind the scenes which you all will see soon, a slightly different look to the forums but mostly the back end system will have changed with a major new release of the forum software. This may go some way to help addressing some speed issues in peak hours in the forums, but we can’t really tell too much until we implement them.
We don’t do this very often and we tend to keep our reviews close to our chest, but we currently have a huge amount of reviews that are currently being worked on. To pick just a handful of names out of the hat, we have lots of products from Holux, three new Bluetooth GPS Receivers (two currently in review the other will hopefully be receiving in a week or two which we will be an exclusive review!), Rikaline GPS Receivers, Armor cases, Haicom GPS Receivers, Garmin Flight Reviews, a special SiRF XTrac article, Magellan and Garmin Handheld Reviews, new Topographical software, Wayfinder, InfoMap Navigator, Origin b2, TeleType Road and Air, Navman 3300, Fugawi UK, AVL and much more. Some of these reviews will start hitting the site shortly others you may not see for up to 6 weeks, as they will take longer as we’ve only just started to write some of these reviews. We will also be receiving soon the new Garmin Street Pilot’s, and iQue’s. In the New Year we are also going to start looking at AVL and Personal Tracking.
And if that’s not enough and you haven’t seen it already, we’ve released a new version of the Pocket GPS Safety Camera Database tonight. Hopefully that’s whet you’re appetites a little!

Hi Dave
You don't need to apologise - I, and I suspect a great many users of your site feel the same, am amazed at the sheer volume of ground you manage to cover - it obviously involves a massive amount of work. The result is far and away the best and most informative website of its' kind anywhere.

Dave, sounds like a similar problem to ours - our BT DSL line has been out since last Wednesday "in an attempt to minimise the spread of the blaster worm" they have obligingly shut down most of the ports on three of their gateways.
