TomTom 5.21: Plusmaps question

Hi,
any suggestions on how to avoid installing plusmaps for the countryborders that you travel across.

Assuming that the plusmap is basically to plain old national map plus the "Major Roads of Europe" should imply that you would need to install plusmaps for the country that you intend to visit back and fourth does it not.

You only need one PLUS map loaded, this allows you to navigate on major roads anywhere in Europe, for street level mapping you will need the individual maps for the area concerned. For example a trip from the UK to Spain, I would use the UK PLUS map to navigate through the UK and to take me through France on Major roads, then switch to the normal Iberia map for navigation through Spain to my destination. If I need street level definition for France, then I would load that and use it, but when going straight through on major roads any Plus map will work. Mike
