Hi,

I have tomtom mobile 5 on my phone.

I have installed the POI from this web site.

However, I wondered do they just show up on the map?

Is there no way of making it sound, or a voice tell me when the speed camera POI is approaching?

If not, do any mobile navigators do this?

Or worse still, do any sole navigatiors with POI add on feature do this, i.e. not including actual speed camera products like Road Angel?

Cheers.

The sat nav you have will do exactly what you want but you need to configure it to work, go to change preference, manage POI, then warn when near POI - setup for each of the camera POI's you have loaded into the device. If you want spoken alerts with the speed then they are avail from this site, or Ray Flanagans site, I am mobile at the moment so its difficult to find the URLs but a search will get you what you need - Mike

Try reading the manual? Don't mean to be harsh but this is a standard TomTom feature.

Just go to Manage POI and set up your warnings from there.

Voice warnings are not a standard feature, but they are easy to setup.
