Acer N35 & Wireless setup (How do I?)

Hi everyone I hope that someone can help with this unusual problem I have.
At the moment Im using a standard NTL broadband modem with ethernet cable to my laptop. The laptop has a built in wireless card and I am wanting to connect via wireless to my Acer N35 PDA which also has a wireless SD card.
Can I set things up so that they will "communicate" with each other via wireless or do I have to wait til I get my linksys router later this week?
Any ideas on how to do this please?

The simple answer is YES. you can get the to talk to each other.
If you are running XP then there is a Microsoft Wizard that makes it very easy to set up a network. When you get your wireless router I suggest you do set up a network anyway.
