Can anyone advise on the best way to import camera data base into Infomap V4?. Also can you alter the voice warnings for the cameras away from the dreadful beep noise.

Thanks Derek Fern

I am going to try and upload all the following files that you need onto this site following this post (if it lets me) - keep an eye out for it. Infomap is great, but most of the files for cams are for tom tom as you have seen. I put all the excel files from the database onto 1 sheet, added a couple of formulas (excel "right" function) in a new column to draw out the speed and sorted the speeds in order, then imported them as "dd mm ss s" in the import wizard sub menu of infomap. I created different imports for each speed zone. I then used an icon converter to create "ico" files for each of the different speeds and attributed each of these "ico" within each of the different imports, so that a seventy speed zone would show the 70 icon file etc. I then used a text to speech converter along with a wav joiner to create some really good specific speed warnings i.e "alarm... two zero...twenty.....alarm......two zero.....twenty". I dropped these new wav files into the same folder within infomap as the default wav sounds. and agin for each import (different speeds), I gave it the specific speed warning you need. Works fantastic. If this is too much to take in, drop me a reply back with ur email and I will help. Infomap is great.
