Playing .3gp files on SPV C550

According to several sites I should by default be able to play .3GP files on my SPV C550, however having tried Windows Media player, and TCPMP I cannot get them to play. Also, if I use file explorer to search for the .3GP file, I cannot see it, meaning to me that there is no application registered that will play these files. Help anybody?

they may simply have the "hidden" attribute set. Happened to me with WAV files recorded on the Smartphone. May be some weird way of the phone telling you not to mess around.
