ok which file set are you trying to load the speedzoned or the consolidated
if you just copy them over they should over write the old ones
dont delete anything out of the map folder as youll fine the map wont work
you can delete any of the pois youve put on but original one must be left there take a back before you do anything _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

It would be easier if you had set Explorer View to show as List and not as Icons.;) _________________ Richard

You've copied all the files!! You have each camera in three times!!
Delete:
pocketgps_uk_gatso (this has all the speed zoned gatsos combined in one file)
pocketgps_uk_mobile (this has all the speed zoned mobiles combined in one file)
pocketgps_uk_specs (this has all the speed zoned specs combined in one file)
And this one has all the above three files combined in it!! So delete it as well:
pocketgps_uk_sc
Also delete the matching .bmp pic files of the same name if you like. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

The name of the Map Folder appears to be wrong and none of the DAT Files appear to be present.
Map Folder should be called Great_Britain-Map.
Are you able to use the Classic normally? Do you have functioning Maps?
If yes, I suspect that you have somehow created a New Folder, and copied the Cameras there, instead of Copying them to the correct Map Folder. _________________ Richard

Here are the files that should be in your Great_Britain-Map folder
(This is the entire contents of mine minus any .ov2 or .bmp files from POIs I've added).
CLINE.DAT
CNAME.DAT
CNODE.DAT
FACES.DAT
MAPINFO.DAT
POI.DAT
TMCODES.DAT
TRAFFIC.DAT
GREAT_BRITAIN.MID
GREAT_BRITAIN.MMS
GREAT_BRITAIN.PNA
GREAT_BRITAIN-MAP.CFG
Certainly the cline/cname/cnode dat files are essential. They ARE the map.
So if your maps are working, the pictures you have shown us are NOT either your actual maps folder OR a good backup of it!! As Oldboy says, have you somehow made a copy of your maps folder and put the camera filles in there instead?
Also, if it is a backup, why is the folder name wrong?
Your backup needs to be the entire contents of the card, with all the folders and their contents intact.
Have you looked at the SD card using Windows Explorer, with it set to "show hidden files and folders" and DO NOT "hide extensions of known file types" (both of these are set in the "Tools" menu / "Folder Options..." / "View" tab).
There should be around 9 or more folders and about 11 files that are not in folders. Of those folders only one should have a name that mentions maps at all (assuming you haven't added any extra maps).
To make a proper backup you should have selected everything (Edit / Select all) and copy and pasted it to somewhere safe.
Finally, what 3 folders are you talking about in your last post? |
