The new files for Release 3.114 are now on the server and can be downloaded from this page or via POIsync.
If you have a TomTom GO (original, 300, 500, 700, Rider, or One) or TomTom Navigator for the PocketPC, have you heard about (or better still) installed the PocketGPSWorld POI Capture utility? POI Capture is a camera capture application. Details can be found here.
The details are as follows: -
pocketgps_uk_gatso – 3546 Gatso cameras, 46 new;
210 Truvelo cameras, 2 new identified as TRUVELO:nnn
pocketgps_uk_redlight - 935 cameras, 10 new
pocketgps_uk_mobile - 2614 sites, 146 new
pocketgps_uk_specs - 137 cameras, 13 new
pocketgps_uk_temp - 99 cameras, 39 new
pocketgps_uk_continental - 135 cameras, see readme.txt for further information
All of the OV2 files have been created using the TomTom utility MakeOV2 so there is no need for TomTom Mobile users to reformat the files. The release number is in the readme.txt file so check that file after downloading. If the new files have not been downloaded then clear your Internet Explorer cache and try again.
Thanks to all of you that sent in updates, and keep them coming in.
Also thanks to Richard (Oldie) for all of his work in administrating the database.
Unfortunately a few ISPs (e.g. NTL) use Inktomi cache servers, which means that some users of those ISPs will have to wait a while for the cache to be updated or ask someone to email you the latest update. By the way, NTL have configured their Inktomi servers to refresh after a period of between 12 and 24hrs so they will update eventually! However, from August 2005 we have changed the name of the download file to include the month and year of release so as to stop any Proxy and Caching issues that some users have experienced.
The link to the beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database can be found here.
The link to the instructions for installing the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto a TomTom GO (Original, 300, 500, and 700) can be found here.
The link to the instructions for installing the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto a PocketPC running TomTom Navigator 5 can be found here.
Garmin i3 and POILoader devices, can now also use the Pocketgpsworld camera database, please see here for futher details.
Release 3.114 of the PocketGPSWorld camera database was made available and announced on Wednesday 30th November 2005, at 07:21:40 GMT, on the home page.

Hi
How can I tell if my Tom Tom Go (original) version 5.201 supports SDK. I understood that this was an option pack to purchase from Tom Tom but is very expensive
Thanks
