Best way to install onto SD card

Hi,

I have just bought TomTom Navigator 5 with UK maps on SD card, I want to make use of a 1gb SD card instead of the TomTom 128mb SD card provided. The question I have is which is the best approach?


1. Copy all the files to my new (empty) SD card with my SD card reader, then follow the install process.

2. Use the TomTom 128mb card to do the install then copy the files to the new SD card using the SD card reader

3. Use the TomTom 128mb card to do the install, do a backup (using Sprite backup) then restore to the 1gb Sd card

I have a Dell Axim X30 High and it will be hard reset and TomTom the first application installed.

Install the program using the supplied SD card. Then copy the files from the SD card to a directory on your PC. Copy back, using the SD card reader, the files back to your new card exactly as they are on the old card ie no extra folders.
Then put in your new card and should work okay. Did for me.
