|
|
Hello,
I have a Tom Tom 5/HP4700 with the UK map. I have just bought the European Map CDs (which includes another version of the UK map. Also a new SD card to put them on. Since I would like to run all my maps on the new SD card is there a way of transferring my favourites onto my new UK map? Or do I have to enter them all over again?
Also, Can I transfer my favourites onto all of the European maps since all the specific country maps contain low-res data for the rest of Europe? I see it is possible to navigate across national boundaries so my Italian favourites are useful even when I am in France. |

try copying the cfg file over and rename it to the new map folder name - it may or may not work. _________________ Lutz

You will need to Untick 'Hide Extensions for Known Filke Types' in Folder Options.
The file is in the Map Folder. _________________ Richard

The only CFG file in the map folder is to do with Outlook. and is called Great_Britain_Plus-Map.cfg
Is that it? It doesn't look right to me? |

That's the file you want. The extensions are TT based and don't necessarily relate to normal Windows naming. _________________ Richard
