Am I correct in thinking that if I backup the two files in the TomTom directory in My Documents, If I reinstall Navigator I can copy them back to my Ipaq and retain all of the points I have saved in favourite list.

This is important to me as I use the favourite list as a way of creating and storing waypoints that I often use when I want to travel via a specific location.

Regards

Richard

In theory, but it's not something I've tried before.

That does work but an easier way is to a create a custom POI List and save your waypoints in there. That way they are created in an .ov2 file in your map folder which you can easily backup, share with friends etc.

Thanks for the reply guy's, I agree creating the .ov2 file would work but I sometimes use the waypoint option in GPS Assist & this needs the waypoints to be stored in the favourite list.

Richard.
