Can anyone tell me how to find specific POI's en route? I want to plan a trip from say London to Leeds and I want to find a list of all Shell petrol stations on the way. Is there any way I can do this? I'm using Tomtom Navigator 5.
Thanks in advance

I don't know how to find only Shell garages (I take it you use optimax 8))
But in preferences you can go into POI set up to warn when near petrol stations if thats any help?

Thanks for the reply.
I was hoping to be able to 'advance plan' a route and then look to see where the Shell stations are (eg, I know I'll need fuel in 150 miles so where will me nearest Shell station be then). |

When you have planned the Route, try Find Alternative > Travel Via ... > Point of Interest > Shell, then at the bottom of the screen Tap the Route icon.
This will show you the Shell sites with a green 'straight' arrow for on route, green 'bent' arrow for close to route, and orange 'bent' arrow for over a mile off route. Those with no arrows are further afield. _________________ Richard

I've tried that but it only seems to show POIs up to 22 miles away (I don't know if this is limited by distance or by the amount). |
