Picture the scene. I have an HTC Blue Angel (XDAIIs, specifically) with TT5 on it. I now have an HTC Wizard (XDA Mini-S, specifically) which I am evaluating.
I want to dump TomTom onto the Wizard, run it for a week or two (to make sure that it doesn't suck) then go back to the XDA IIs.
Questions:
1) When I activate TT on the Wizard, will I then be unable to apply updates to the BA?
2) Once I have activated TT on the Wizard, will in be able to re-activate it on the BA when I'm done with the Wizard?
For info, I've had TT5 installed on the BA for 6 months and this licenses has only ever been activated on this device.
Info appreciated.

1) activations are for the maps. Product updates are not affected
2) you don't need to reactivate on the BA (you cannot actually remove an activation)
However, you are not legally allowed to use the product on both units.. So you should stop using it on the BA when you start on the Wizard. _________________ Lutz

Great, thanks for the info. I will, of course, not be using TT on both units. After all, they're both mine and I'm the only one who uses them!
TT5 seems to work ok on the Wizard, although I've not had chance to put miles on it. I will do so this week... |
