But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

I have been running TT3 for a while now with good generally results but have found the maps are rather a long time out of date in some places (e.g. Staines, Middx. town centre) roads have been altered many years ago, but the maps don't take this into account. If I followed TT3 I'd be mowing down shoppers in the pedestrian mall! However, "avoid area" is a workaround in cases like this (if you know about them!)
I experimentally tried TT5 on my HP2200 PDA, but was unimpressed, finding it unwieldy by comparison with TT3 in addition to other shortcomings, such as the apparent inability to store "Advance Planned" routes, etc. and have now removed it. However, the TT5 maps appear to be of rather later vintage and I wonder whether it is possible to install TT5 maps with TT3? I think the answer is going to be negative, in which case I'll stay with TT3, unless there is another TT3 compatible map source.
